Who doesn't like a good cover reveal? I know I do. Presenting, Salt & Pepper.

Salt and Pepper book cover, shows a Black woman with braids and a Black man facing each other, with a text overlay

We are another step closer to sharing this story of healing and repaired trust with the world.

My favorite part of this cover is the way the man and woman are looking at one another. It is the perfect depiction of the roles Boom and Nia play in maneuvering around and eventually to one another.

Regardless of the pain from his past, once he encounters her, all he sees, thinks, and wants is to stand in the gaps for her. Be any and everything she needs. He fights the attraction because of fear, but the draw is too strong to deny.

Nia's inability to make eye contact represents a two-fold scenario: one, her inability to hold the heat from his gaze. And two, the fear of opening up to the idea of what's in front of her. Because she questions if she has what it takes to keep it.

ARCs have gone out, and the early feedback is positive. Thank goodness lol.

Next up, a release date.

I have one in mind, but I'm waiting to hear back from my editor before we jump out the window with that.

So, stay tuned!
